A Goldsboro woman is scheduled to make her first appearance in court Tuesday on a charge of concealment/failure to report the death of her 31-year-old daughter.
Sunday night at 11:21 Goldsboro Police were called to a welfare check at 103 Hunters Place where officers found the body of Natasha Nichelle Boyle-South, 31, in her bedroom. Investigators were contacted and assuming control of the crime scene.
The body will be sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
As a result of the investigation, a warrant for concealment/failure to report death was secured Monday for 58-year-old Lisa Michelle Boyle, who was taken into custody without incident in the 700 block of U.S. 70 just before 11 a.m. Monday by members of the department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau, according to police.
Boyle was taken before a magistrate where she received a $1,000 secured bond.
Authorities report the investigation is continuing and no additional information is being released at this time.
