Patricia Elaine Smith, 77, Fremont passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Johnston County Nov. 17, 1941, to the late Clifton and Lillie Mae Lamb Price.

She was owner, along with her husband, at Capitol Café in Fremont of almost 30 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, W.T. Smith; her son, Tommy Smith and wife, Darlene, of Belfast; her daughter, Donna Barrett and husband, Ken, of Pikeville; one brother, Raymond Price of Kenly; four grandchildren, Brandi Davis and husband, Robert, Garrett Smith and wife, Betty, Will Barrett and wife, Ashley, and Krista Beamon and husband, Taylor; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan Davis, Kendall Grace Davis, Rett Smith and Raegan Barrett.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by three brothers, J.D. Price, Wayne Price and Alton Price, and two sisters, Julia Denning and Jean Godwin.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with elder Michael Reid presiding and elder Lionel Moore officiating. Interment will be in Golden Gate Memorial Gardens.

He was the son of Vivian Barnes and Ronnie Ford.

Visitation will be noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Retired United States Air Force Maj. Thomas Needham Park Jr., 83, died Tuesday at SECU Hospice Home, Smithfield.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Raleigh. Burial with military honors will be at Historic Oakwood Cemetery.

He was married to Mary Lou.

He is survived by two children.

He was son of the late Arlo and Elizabeth Davis Blocker. He was married to the late Elizabeth Hogan Blocker.

She was born in Wilson County Sept. 8, 1941, to the late Lester Perry and Juanita Gay Collier. She was married to the late James Harold Barnes.

She is survived by a son and two daughters.

She was born April 10, 1930, to the late Maude and Edgar Tew. She was married to the late R.C. Warren.

She is survived by a son, Richard Warren Jr.; daughter, Connie W. Vigus (Don); two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
