Louella Mercer Barnes, 81, 3310 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, died Feb. 13 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tuskeegee Holiness Church in Wilson.

Died Feb. 18

Tontrina Tayon Edwards Joyner, 43, 313 Wesley Drive, died Monday at home.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John Kingdom Ministries, Snow Hill. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Princeton.

She was born on June 11, 1975, in Wayne County to Latha Marie Edwards and Marvin Columbus Gardner.

She is survived by her husband, Danny L. Joyner, and a son.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.

Barbara Watson Brown

Died Feb. 18

Barbara Watson Brown, 71, Beaufort, died Monday at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Live Oak Grove Christian Church in Beaufort with minister Bill Pollock officiating. The family will receive friends at the church the hour prior to the service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lillie Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Brown Jr.; and a son.

Austin L. Williams

Died Feb. 15

Austin Lee Williams, 72, 231 Rifle Range Road, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at First African Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tony Whitted officiating. Burial will follow in Faison Chapel Church Cemetery, Warsaw.

Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late William Allen Williams and Martha Wilson Williams, and husband of the Rev. Angelene Murphy Williams.

One daughter survives.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to funeral service at the church.

The Rev. Roudalph Turnage, 90, 1503 E. Caswell St., Kinston, died Saturday at Vidant Medical Center.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
