Adell “Al” Hall went to be with the Lord Jan. 5, 2019, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C., at the age of 79.
A wake will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Hall’s homegoing service will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at First African Baptist Church. The church will open at 2 p.m. for a viewing, with service beginning at 3 p.m.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Hall’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to First African Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, where he served as committee chair, and was determined to share the importance of furthering one’s education. Patricia A. Marguglio, 74, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at home surrounded by family.,
Pat was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 30, 1944, to the late Leonard A. Raab Sr. and Marcella Raab.
Pat is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Marguglio; daughter, Christine Marguglio of Goldsboro; son, John Marguglio of Franklin, Ind., and his wife, Amy Marguglio; grandchildren, Karilyn Marguglio and her fiancé, Gregory Lane, Maddie Reynolds, James Marguglio and Jacob Marguglio; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Blair Davis.
She is also survived by her brothers, Leonard A. Raab Jr. “Len” and wife, Joyce of Albuerque, N.M., and brother, David Raab “Dave” and wife, Sue, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
And many nieces and nephews.
The funeral (Mass and burial) will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary Church in Goldsboro.
Donations can be made out to Saint Mary School.

Mildred Barber Walker Smith, 86, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at her home.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Walker Family Cemetery in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends afterward and other times at the residence, 558 Old N.C. 111 in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Smith was born in Wayne County Dec. 16, 1932, to the late Lynn Eugene Barber Sr. and Bessie Long Barber.
She was a charter member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, and attended Ray of Hope Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church while her health permitted.
She is survived by one son, Gene Walker (Maryann) of Goldsboro; two daughters, Rhonda Sullivan (Ben) of Goldsboro and Karen Yarbrough (Richard) of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Walker; two brothers; and two sisters.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.

Laurel M. Zucker, 54, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Black Mountain Neuromedical Treatment Center with her family by her bedside.
She is survived by her loving sister, Amy Risch of Goldsboro; her caring brother, Allan Risch of Goldsboro; her sister, April Risch of Goldsboro; her sister, Jamie Crews of Seven Springs; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Risch, and her father, John Risch of Goldsboro.
Laurel was a charming, outspoken person, who loved her friends and family.
She enjoyed spending her weekdays at the Wayne Opportunity Center surrounded by her friends for more than 20 years.
The family will greet friends Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Waynesborough Park in Goldsboro at the Hatch House.
