Allen Lee Sellers, age 63, of Selma, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019.
Born in Johnston County on Sept. 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Joseph Turner Sellers and Shirley Stilley Sellers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Blake Sellers. Allen owned and operated Sellers Auto Parts in Selma for 34 years before his retirement and was a retired member of the Selma Fire Department. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved deer hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Loosing Swamp Trophy Club in Bertie County and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Selma.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Tuesday, July 2, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Selma Memorial Gardens on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Surviving are his wife, Pam Pennington Sellers; sister, Shirley Jo Peedin and husband, Duck, of Selma; mother-in-law, Carolyn Pennington of Mount Olive; special nephews, Jarred Pennington and Stacy Peedin; brothers-in-law, David Pennington and wife, Connie, of Mount Olive, and Gerald Pennington of Mount Olive; and many other nieces and nephews.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to any SPCA, Faith Baptist Church in Selma, or Smithfield First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Queicine Artis, 59, 302 S. Johnson St., Mount Olive, died Thursday at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home.
She was born March 25, 1960, in Wayne County to Christopher C. Faircloth and Maggie Dyson Artis.
She is survived by two children.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
