Jennifer Marcella Fuller, born Sept. 12, 1970, in Mount Holly, N.J., passed away at the age of 48 at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount, N.C., on June 22, 2019, after a four-month struggle from an accident that left her paralyzed. She left this earth peacefully surrounded by family to meet Jesus in heaven. She is proceeded in death by her parents Catherine Bernice Fuller and Edward Fuller; also, by two brothers Scott McKelvey and Eric Fuller.

At Jennifer’s request, no formal services will be held at this time.

She is survived by a brother, Chris McKelvey, of Cherry Hill, N.J., and a sister, Stacy McKelvey Fishman and husband, Dave, of Goldsboro; by her nephews, Michael Fishman and wife, Monica, of Dudley, Matthew Fishman and wife, Sarah, of Goldsboro, Joshua Fishman and wife, Amanda, of Pikeville, and Lee McKelvey and wife, Meredith, of Lakeland, Fla. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews whom she adores.

Jennifer loved her pet dogs, Brutus and Mandy, as if they were her children. She loved to read her books and lived a simple life. She loved to study and spent many years taking classes.

Jennifer just wanted to be loved and accepted — her dream is a reality now.

The family offers a special thank you to the many nurses and doctors who did an excellent job of caring for Jennifer with dignity and honor while at Life Care Hospital.

John Allen Flowers, 76, formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., passed peacefully at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs, Md.

He was born Feb. 10, 1943, in Wayne County to Samuel Sr. and Carrie Lou Smith Flowers.

He is survived by four children, Angela Flowers, of Greenville, N.C., Cherie Flowers Smith (Wayne), Deborah Flowers, of Greensboro, N.C., and Bradley Flowers (Lisa), of Pikeville, N.C.; and six siblings, sisters, Julia F. Lewis, of Silver Springs, Md., Carrie Mae Flowers Smith (Calvert), of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mary Ellen Flowers Coley (Elroy), of Goldsboro, N.C., and brothers, James Flowers (Patricia), and Kenneth Flowers (Carolyn), both of Philadelphia, Pa., and William Flowers (Bernice), of Laurel, Md.

Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Carrie Lou Flowers, brother Samuel Flowers Jr.

John was a 1961 graduate of Dillard High School, Goldsboro N.C.

There will be no funeral service.

Celebration of Life, Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Lovelace J. “Bruh” Williams Jr., 75, of Fremont, died Saturday at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Serenity Memorial Funeral Home and Cremations chapel. Burial will be in Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, Pikeville.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
