Princeton Middle School wins conference championship

The Bulldogs finished off a successful season by finishing with a 12-1 overall record and winning the conference championship.

Prep boys’ basketball

Spring Creek 75, Midway 62

Landon Smothers scored 23 points, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds as the Gators toppled Midway 75-62. Tyrese Artis had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Demarte Bizzell contributed14 points, while Dominique Morse added 11 points ans six rebounds. Nazir Archie finished with eight points and four rebounds.

North Duplin 74, Lakewood 66

North Duplin won its first-round playoff game against Lakewood 74-66. Armone Anders scored a team-high 19 points, Kyle Figueroa and Christian Powell each scored 11 points, while Kijah Blow added 10 points. The Rebels improved to 8-11 overall.
