Michael Reid and Roderick Benjamin each scored eight points as the Eagles toppled the Rebels 38-27. D.J. Simmons led North Duplin with a game-high 12 points.

Braylee Butts scored 21 points, while Koreyonna Bell and Laine Marack each scored 14 points as the Eagles beat the Rebels 63-22. Hannah Martin was the Rebel’s leading scorer with six points.

Wayne Christian 50, John Paul II 24

The Eagles flew into the CPIP tournament with a 50-24 win over John Paul II. Abi Harrelson led the Eagles with 13 points, three assists and five steals. Ramiyah Baldwin scored 10 points, two assists and four steals, while Bri Verme added seven points. Olivia Sutton finished with six points, and Kaylee Martin scored four points. Jamia Waters, Payton Jackson, Emma Bauer, Leeah Mills each scored two points.
